A Canadian Born Chinese only child of a late Jim Kar Son (Karl Jeam) who lived in Hong Kong, but was orphaned by the time he was 14. In my mother's recent death, found a letter that connects me to my father's past, and am seeking assistance to find descendants of this Education Officer and Good Samaritan. Without his help, my father would never have gotten the education he did nor would I have had the great privilege to be in the position I am.
I hope to share this story and hope that others can help me track down the key person or his family so that I can also express my eternal gratitude for the kindness and generosity they demonstrated to make that all happen.
