President of Hong Kong Tram Heritage Association 香港電車歷史文化協會,
has grown up with Hong Kong’s tramway since 1980. Being inquisitive about the
‘ding ding’ sounds and fascinated with the advertising billboards, I have been
researching and photographing every aspect of tram even stayed up through the
nights. Moreover, studying old photographs and collecting tram archives helps to
retain the iconic Ding Ding’s culture and history.
Joseph has co-written a number of articles for Tramfare magazine, published three
books about Hong Kong trams and build-up good relationship with Hong Kong
Tramways, whom regarded as “tram walking dictionary”. He has organized numerous exhibtions, seminars and guide tours on trams and received favourable responses.
He has mission to widespread a comprehensive tram knowledge to the public and
wishes to set up a tram museum as final target.
