Tsing Tsuen Bridge [1987- ]

Tsing Tsuen Bridge, also called Tsing Yi North Bridge, opened  to traffic on 11 December 1987.

Tsing Yi North Bridge was, when opened in 1987, Hong Kong's largest prestressed balanced cantilever bridge with a main navigation span of 160 metres, side spans of 90 metres, and approach viaducts that brought the total length to 1,015 metres.The design can support a 2-way and 4-lane traffic. Tsing Yi Power Station [1966-1998]

Construction of the Tsing Yi Power Plant started in 1966, the first turbine was commissioned in April 1969. It was oil fired, a tank farm was built next to it. From 1968 onwards, five chimneys were set up. During the 1970's and 1970's, the plant (together with the Hok Yuen Plant) produced electricity for Kowloon and the New Territories, sometimes for Mainland China.
