Argyle Street Camp Nos. 3 & 4 / Argyle Street Detention Centre (Vietnamese refugee camp) [c.1950-????]
The eastern part of this ground was previously the internment camp / POW camp that was built in 1939. Later aerial photos show that the old huts from that camp continued to be used in the new Army Camp. The western section next to Kowloon Hospital was originally empty land, but later photos show Nissen huts were erected there.
In the late 1970s / early 1980s the site was used to house Vietnamese refugees.
