Judging by where access was relatively easy in the 1950s by bus or train, I wonder whether this was on the Castle Peak road or even heading further over towards Taipo Market?  It doesn't look like the road between Shatin and Taipo Market.  That huge house might be a clue? (Andrew S)

I remember seeing men using these nets in the Yuen Long and Kam Tin area.  Any thoughts.  The mountain range might provide a clue.  (Andrew S)

The nearest place to swim when based at Lyemun was a small bay more or less below the sports field.  It is now obliterated by the Island Eastern Corridor road at the place where the Shing Tai Road joins it.  There were one or two old military 'shelters' on the shoreline there.  I have at least one image of that and I hope to find it and create a link.  (Andrew S)

This was probably in Shaukiwan, maybe taken on Wang Wa street?  It looks like Devil's Peak on the right. (Andrew S).  No.  Thanks to Moddsey for correctly identifying this building at Sai Wan Ho.  Andrew
