Is that PB17 at the far end of the beach - the white building with what looks like a gun embrasure on each of its seaward facing walls?  It looks like it but, if so, it is now much lower in the sand.

The site for Victoria Park in Causeway Bay looks ready for grass seeding, whch would put the date as being in the first half of 1957.

Could be anywhere amongst the three or four storey buildings in Wan Chai.  This one's structure looks to be in rather a bad state of repair - maybe one of the many that were badly damaged in 1941.  It's possible that the top row of homes were some of the shacks built onto the flat roofs.  How much better it would be for the shack dwellers when the government built the resettlement estates.

Firstly my apologies for the low resolution in this gallery of Ivan's images.  The originals are only about 150kb.  I hope that there is sufficient clarity to see most of the detail.

This is one of the few photograph, taken in a dormitory at the China Fleet Club, that I know of.  Sometimes when the weather was really hot and humid we slept on beds out on the balconeis.  I believe that the police flats building is still there in 2018. Below is a very useful correction from Moddsey..
