Starting from 21 December 2010, this exhibition will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays) in our Exhibition Hall on 2/F., Hong Kong Public Records Building, 13 Tsui Ping Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon. I shall be glad to learn whether Opium Divan Licenses have yet been issued for the following houses:

26 Cheung Sha Wan
29 Cheung Sha Wan
49 Kaulung Tong

If licenses have not been issued, I shall be glad if they can be withheld as the ground surfaces of these premises are not concrete and I find that the present sanitary law does not require concreting of old houses in the above villages.  I think, however, that an Opium Divan should have a concrete floor and this can be secured by using any house built subsequent to 1894 for the purpose.
