Went to Shanghai in 1901 where she lived for 50 years then returned to Macau. Leaves 4 sons and 2 daughters: Manuel, Mario, Miguel (these 3 in Hong Kong), Marcus and Alicia (in Canada) and Maria (in Scotland). 19 grandchildren and 10 great grand children. She is survived by her sisters: Maria Jose Marques da Silva, Martinho Margues (sic) and Maria Teresa Marques da Silva (Sister Marie Therese) and by her brother Manuel Marques da Silva, all 3 residing in Macau.
