Over a month has passed since I last wrote in these pages. So very much has happened in the 40 odd days, that I shall in all probability omit several items of news.
A change in camp - all Canadian officers and Imperial officers have moved into the next camp. Sentries are very lax and permit people to go back and forth from one camp to another.
Sentry shot himself while on duty. He was implicated in a large scale attempt to steal Banknote paper. Realized he was caught and preferred death by his own hands.
Sentries paying good prices for cats, their meat must be in demand outside!
Bowen Rd patients left for their new quarters last month.
Leo Weill died on May 11 (approx).
Germany packed up May 8th.
Japan is receiving very heavy raids. Feel war will be over by August 1945.
No letters from Dad or Rose.
