The current site of South China Athletic Association (IL 9041) was once Caroline Hill (IL 358), where the Morgan's Bungalow was located. The entirely of Caroline Hill was labeled IL 358.
In the HONGKONG LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL report of 27th October 1921, page 7 and 19 both noted that a future site for Queen's College will be located on Caroline Hill.

Item 12 is the first expenditure under a scheme for removing Queen's College from its present site to a much larger site on Caroline Hill. A Committee appointed last year reported very unfavourably on the present buildings, and the development during the last few years of a taste for field games among the Chinese has rendered is essential that any site to which the principal Government School is to be transferred shall not only be easily accessible, but shall have ample grounds for recreation of every kind. These conditions are fulfilled by the site chosen and as soon as plans for the new school are approved an estimate of the cost will be placed before Honourable Members. I may point out that the amount which will be realised by the sale of such portion of the present site of Queen's College as may be available after the area has been laid out to suit city developments will go far to pay for the new College.

And in the Hong Kong Government Gazette No. S. 252 of 18th August 1922.

No. S. 252 - It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Site for Queen's College at Caroline Hill", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 4th day of September, 1922 for the levelling of site, forming roads and filling in of low-lying areas at and around Caroline Hill.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.

This show that around the early 1920s, the government had already have plans on reallocating Queen's College to Caroline Hill IL 358, the tender will have to level the site and pave roads up the hill.
But in 1927, The South China Athletic Association Stadium opened on the site with a new lot IL 9041. We don't really know why the government decided to give up the land, but I guess reallocating a big school was not profitable and it was time-consuming.
