A hard but pleasant day at Aberdeen. Saw a car load of Stanley boys, they looked very well. The day passed very quickly. Japanese nurses, wounded, crabs (? Sp.), sick guard etc. Keep the dirty swine – I must get even over the wine. The inspection was a success. I understand that iron beds may be issued to us once again.
