Hello fellow Gwulo'ers
I have a stack of 1980s-era Hilton Horizon magazines (in-house magazine of the hotel group) that were saved from the shelves of Dr Dan Waters following his passing in 2016 (thanks to Annemarie Evans for inviting me). However, having just recently downsized my apartment, I need to dispose of them and I am hoping someone here is either able to take them or direct me to an interested party based in Hong Kong.
The alternative is that I throw them out - however, I will probably cut them up for easier scanning first and then upload HK pertinent articles here to Gwulo if that is okay with Admin.
The magazine isn't particularly HK-centric but includes articles from all over the world. I think Dr Waters collected these because they had HK/China/Asia related articles inside amongst the general noise and 80s-era adverts.
I had some success with some similarly obtained Peninsula magazines that found a home with the HK&Shanghai Hotels archives.
