Dinner with Weill & Ernie Coulson and a drink with the Russian lads.

Spent the rest of the evening with Yank, talking about North Point. Its now 11.49 and I am ready for bed. Weill is asleep. The hut is empty, singing drifts in from the surrounding huts

"May the New Year see us as free people once again - united and together with our folks"

God bless you mother dear and you dear dad- who now only after a year away from you I have really begun to know

My love and best wishes Rosie, Polly, Polly-Emile little Alex and you Harry, Dollores who I have not seen much of - may you have a future of happiness

May god bless you all and also look after dad for me

Leo
