Tai Hang Sai Estate [c.1965- ]

By 2026-07-23, Man Lok House was fully demolished, only Man Hing House was intact, and the other buildings were covered in scaffolding. 

Tai Hang Sai Estate (大坑西邨) is a private housing estate built by the Hong Kong Settlers Housing Corporation Limited in Shek Kip Mei, Located between Shek Kip Mei Estate and Tai Hang Tung Estate. It consists of 8 residential buildings, which 7 of them were built/opened in 1965, and Man Tai House was built in 1980 and opened 1 year after. Each block has 8 floors and a total of 1700 units. 

It is built on Kwong Man Village (光民村), which was demolished in 1961 and 1962. The DMC stated that there needed to have at least 1600 flats in the estate, the residents could buy a flat in the estate for a very low price.
