The western extremity of the building was adjacent to the tram loop at Whitty Street Tram Terminus (1st Location).
The building appears in photographs in the first decade of the last century. Set building completion date to 1906 for the time being. See comments below. The building was used as a hotel, restaurant etc.. Guessing the demolition date around 1981 for the construction of Hong Kong Plaza (completed in 1983).
