Shek Pik Campsite is one of the 41 campsites currently managed by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD).

It is a relatively small campsite located within the Lantau South Country Park and along section 8 of the Lantau Trail. The campsite is built on a gentle slope adjacent to Keung Shan Road, and is well-equipped with amenities such as: barbeque pits, camping platforms, cooking places, benches, cloth lines and tables. There is also a well-maintained flushing toilet facility near the entrance of Wang Pui Road, about 100m away from the campsite.

Shek Pik Campsite was built in 2012, and AFCD has completed a refresh and upgrade in 2020 according to the department's reply to questions from the Legislative Council (https://www.info.gov.hk/gia/general/202211/09/P2022110900418.htm).
