Pier in Kennedy Town at the junction of today's Catchick and Cardogan Streets (see 1901 map on Gwulo).
The Public Works Report for 1896 refers:
90. Pier at Kennedytown .- The erection of a suitable pier at Kennedytown in connection with the Slaughter Houses and Depots was commenced in August last under Contract No. 12/.
Satisfactory progress has been made with the work which is now very nearly completed.
The pier is situated opposite the western end of Chater Street* and is 211 feet in length having a floor area of 4,600 square feet.
*today Catchick Street.
The pier was demolished when the next step of reclamation started in 1921/22.
