When completed, Wing Lock Buildings were a block of European flats fronting Nathan Road (western side) northwards from Peking Road to the Station Hotel. The buildings comprised 10 shops and 30 flats and were completed in 1929.
The 1938 Street Index mentioned the large site covered K. I. L. Nos 619/407/406 and 403 and was located on 35-53 Nathan Road.
Note: I have seen newspaper mentions of Wing Lock Buildings with addresses on Peking and Lock Roads. The site appears to have covered a wider footprint after 1929. However, the 1938 Street Index does not mention the names of the buildings on Peking and Lock Roads.
