The "twelve residential blocks at 13 streets" in To Kwa Wan/Ma Tau Kok were erected in phases between 1958 and 1961. The large residential lot was bordered by Kowloon City Road, To Kwa Wan Road, Mok Cheong Street and Ma Tau Kok Road and comprised 11 parallel streets.
The buildings are slated for redevelopment by the Urban Renewal Authority.
