The inscriptions at the front are:
- Sheung Wan Munipicial Services Building
- Sheung Wan Cooked Food Centre
- Sheung Wan Market
Many of the market stalls have moved here from the Western Market.

The SE corner was not well lit, but if you zoom in, the words Sheung Wan Sports Centre could still be read.
