Former property of notorious corrupt police sergeant, Lui Lok. A small pavilion/gatehouse is the only thing that remains. The grounds are now a rest garden. Also known as Wai Bun Castle.
Following Lui Lok's "emigration" to Taiwan in 1973, the buildings were turned into a restaurant (unsure of the dates of operation).
The area was taken over by the Government in 1987 to make space for the Shing Mun Tunnel Road flyover.
In 2005 the remaining parts of the property (and pond and pavilion) were bought by SHK Properties, demolished and the land redeveloped as part of the Peak One residential development.
