Feverish haste to get decorations made for Christmas Tree. Miriam & I decorated tree.
Had impromptu sing song in the hall in evening. Children were given sweets & parcel. Men given cigs. Sang Carols. Party afterwards. Miss Dyson, Miss Franklin, Mr Ward & Mr Hulme. Quite good fun.
About 30 odd people left for Shanghai at noon. They have been waiting for months.
