I have lived in Hong Kong for 40 years, and we have done lots of research on old Hong Kong, but we never came across photographs of the construction of the peak tram. For example, the digging and blasting of rocks, the layout of the tracks etc.
There are photographs of the Stanley road construction which was completed in 1919.
