The two buildings in your image are Summit (right) and Highcliff (left). Highcliff replaced an earlier twin-block development of the same name. Summit was built on what used to be a slope supporting the access road to Highcliff. Not much space there, hence the skinny nature of the buildings. Older maps show a "ruin" on the site of Highcliff but Summit was just a slope and (later) access road.
It may be fun to stay on the top floor of either of these towers during Typhoon signal number 9 or 10. I actually like the older Highcliff more than these two despite they are not for ordinary citizens.
Older maps could be browsed at HKMS 2.0 site. There are also aerial photos. Have fun poking the Government site. The available items could be ordered at a fee, if you want to have a copy. There may be digital copies, or physical copies available. Please see details there.

Thanks. Would you have any photos or older maps of the old sites by any chance?
