Completed in 1981. The hotel has 600 rooms with a 3 storey podium which houses the main food & beverage outlets of the hotel and a 4 storey deep basement for shops and hotel services.
The guest room portion of the hotel is designed on a courtyard plan with a landscape garden at second floor and a swimming pool on the roof. The guest rooms on 2 sides of the building have a saw-toothed profile to ensure that maximum rooms have a view of the harbour. (source)
