According to Fire Services Departent records, 31 heavy draw-off hydrants were approved for installation in Kowloon and 4 on Hong Kong Island between 1962 and around 1971. 28 were located under the Kai Tak Airport flight path, but several more were placed in other high-risk locations. One was approved outside Queen's College in Causeway Bay in 1963.
Its serial number is unknown. The only evidence of its location we could find was a handwritten memo. Unsure if it was actually installed or when it was removed.
