Notes from heritage.catholic.org.hk:

Our Lady of Lourdes Church, located in Hong Kong South, was founded by Rev. Joseph Gazelu and other Brother of the Missions Etrangeres de Paris (MEP).  As early as 1870, after building the Bethanie Monastery in Pokfulam area, Paris Foreign Mission also purchased a nearby building as the printing factory named ‘Tai Koo Lau’.

In 1885, Rev. Gazelu started to erect a small chapel next to Tai Koo Lau together with a school to provide education for children of the workers in the printing factory.  The small chapel was then converted to a larger chapel for public worship and ceremonial services.  Catholics of the Tai Koo Lau village naturally formed the congregation of the new church.

After more than 40 years, the chapel became so delapidated that it needed to be rebuilt. The new church was blessed on 21.2.1938, the feast day of patron of Our Lady of Lourdes, hence the name of the Church.

In 1982, Yu Chung Keung Second Memorial School was completed, comprising a brand new Our Lady of Lourdes Church which was consecrated in 1983.  The new church is a single-storey round feature in pure white. Its innovative design and ultra-modern features give the church a lively and appealing outlook as well as bring new hopes and expectation to the parishioners.

As an extended service, the Church also includes the Wah Fu Mass Centre located within the Wah Fu Precious Blood Primary School.

The location of the church is shown on Map: 1958.1 at https://www.hkmaps.hk/viewer.html
