I have no evidence whatsoever, but my increasingly unreliable memory tells me that the full name of this place was "The Stoned Crow". If I'm thinking of the same place it operated back in the 1980's and/or 90's when the word "stoned" was more often used to describe being drunk rather than drugged. Can't say I remember entering ever, but the name amused me - I think.
I used to live at 15 Minden Avenue before I came to Australia in 1965. I returned to HK in 1977 to work and the Stoned Crow was one of my favourite haunts along with Beefy's (Prat Avenue then Canton Road) and The Waltzing Matilda (AKA Wally Mats) Cameron(?) Road, there was also the Ned Kelly's on Ashley(?) road. Regrettably, I returned to HK on business in the early 2000s and found a Waltzing Matilda somewhere in the same area of TST but the atmosphere was totally different - the 'new' administration?

A Typo
Yes, it was The Stoned Crow. Appeared in a 1970s Hong Kong Tourist Association Guide Book. Thanks.
