[Workaround available] double spacing in page of a Book

Submitted by hkspace_wl on

Hi David,

Above difference observed.

For example, you may compare with the former one : https://old.gwulo.com/node/60499

Kindly see if this is a known or intended feature of the new version.

Best regards, wl

I noticed this as well but found that just going in to edit the page/node, and then saving without making any changes, seemed to fix it.

...  The sailing distance round Hongkong estimated in 1843,
(Sir E. Belcher's survey) at 26.85 miles, though a walk round it, fol-
lowing the irregular indentations of the coast, gives a distance of some
few miles more. Its extreme length is nearly nine, and its greatest
breadth a little more than four miles.

It is a bug.

I tried Phil's approach, of editing and then saving the page at https://gwulo.com/node/60499 but in this case it didn't help.

However I then edited the text and made a change - simply adding a space at the end of the text - and then saved it, and then the blank lines are gone.

That will be the workaround for now.

apologies, yes, I now think I had deleted and then re-added a line break (i.e. net change zero rather than just no change) and then saved and this had the same effect. The save seemed to recognise the old spacing.
