According to the 1938 Street Index here, Nos 1-29 Wong Nai Chung Road (today's iteration) at the southern end of Happy Valley Racecourse was collectively known as Man Chung Terrace.
The buildings were of European style. Nos. 1-3 Wong Nai Chung Road was a shorter three-storey building between Village and Shan Kwong Roads and Po Shin Street whilst Nos. 5-29 Wong Nai Chung Road was a longer building with different building facades comprising four storeys that stretched from Po Shin Street to Sing Woo Road. Not sure if the name "Po Shin Street" still exists as the street is designated as a "ramp" today between the buildings near the Happy Valley Tram Terminus.
Sections of Man Chung Terrace faced the Racecourse as well as the Wong Nai Chung nullah. The building lots were previously part of Wong Nai Chung Village and erected likely in the early 1920s (see here) from the gradual demise of the Village as the buildings can be seen in photographs of the Happy Valley Racecourse (see here) and in rainstorm and flooding events at the base of Wong Nai Chung Valley from this period.
The approach of the mid-1950s saw redevelopment and individual names gradually being given to newly erected buildings in the location known as Man Chung Terrace. Noticed an individual's address for 21 Man Chung "Fong" from 1947.
