28 three-storey houses on the southern side of Elgin/Haiphong Road with nos. 1-28 (see Index of the streets, house numbers and lots of the city of Victoria ... in the colony of Hong Kong). Originally located on (the northern part of) K.I.L. 212 and K.I.L. 213, this was changed to K.I.L. 211 at some time.

The 1896 map on Gwulo shows that 14 western houses had been built already,  the following ones likely around 1900.

Houses nos. 1-10 were demolished during the 1930s, a new building called "Quarters" replaced them. The other houses (11-28)  were demolished around 1950 and replaced by new slightly larger buildings with house numbers 11-24.

1-14 completed by 1896 as per the 1896 map. This following ad suggests the next tranche of houses from 15 onwards appear to have been constructed by early April 1897 to allow for Mr. H. Ruttonjee to open his store at Nos. 19 and 20 Elgin Road officially on 1st May 1897.
