According to wiki: "There were two bungalows in Hong Yuen. In 1952, it was leased to the London Missionary Society. In 1959, the new owner renamed the bungalows Hong Yuen. In 1965, it was leased to the Home of Loving Faithfulness  established by Valerie Conibear and Wendy Blackmur. The two British ladies were originally nurses at the Fanling Babies Home*. After the Fanling Babies Home closed, they set up this hostel for disabled children. In 1971, the hostel moved to Kwu Tung."

*This is not consistant with the information posted on the Shatin Babies Home page which states that Conibear and Blackmur were at Shatin rather than at Fanling. I'll leave the information as is for the time being.

The site was redeveloped into Fanling Industrial Centre at 21 On Kui Street.
