Married Francisco Maria Xavier. Had a child, Dorothy Maria Xavier. Francisco died after being released from a prison camp. Betty married a man with the surname Lloyd. In 1952 Betty and Mary travelled to the UK on the Dilwara. In 1955 Betty returned to Hong Kong on the Canton, leaving her daughter in Wales with her stepfather and that was the last time her daughter saw her. Her daughter who is now in her 80s would very much like to know when and how her mother died and if she has any Xavier relatives in Hong Kong.

Xavier is a common surname, and the Portuguese / Macanese families in Hong Kong in the early 20th century were usually large, so it is very likely that Dorothy has living relatives from her father's family.
Please can you give any more information about Francisco, e.g. when he was born, and where he worked & lived? Any copies of Dorothy's birth certificate or her parents' marriage certificate would also be a big help.
