Hilary was in my class at KGV. Her mother was one of our teachers (not sure what subject she taught). The following quote is from a KGV reunion in 2002: "There was a FIVE tiered 100 anniversary cake and guess who cut it?  95 year old Mrs. Hale, who then danced with everyone.  Can you imagine that she still does not wear glasses, and she is as sharp as a needle, with lots of good wit.  She made a wonderful speech about her days (starting in 1946) at KGV, and how every generation still remains with close bonds as one big KGV family."

Hilary was a friend of my older sister, Eve Atkinson, so while I did not really know her myself I remember her and that they were at KGV together in the same class and that she sometimes was a visitor in our home.
