Another building in the middle of the praya. First mentioned in the Government Gazette (call for tender) in 1901 "on the praya opposite Marine Lot 22". The work was delayed, the principal cause of the delay being the failure of a local company to supply the glazed bricks. The Public Works Report for 1903 refers:
The three urinals referred to in last year's Report as having been delayed from various causes, namely……[the] one on the Praya near the Canton and Macao Steamboat Co.'s pier were completed.
The urinal was located very close to the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Wharf (second generation) [1900-c.1958]. Unfortunately, we don’t have photos of these piers so far that show the urinal clearly.
Like the other urinals on Connaught Road, this one survived WW2, but around 1950 it was demolished to make way for motor traffic.
