Another prominent building in the middle of the praya. First mentioned in the Government Gazette (call for tender) in 1904 "opposite Marine Lot 54". The Public Works Report for 1905 refers:
Two public urinals were erected in Connaught Road of 8 divisions each, one opposite Marine Lot No. 54 and one opposite Marine Lot No. 224.
The urinal was located very close to the Osaka Shosen Kaisha (O.S.K.) Wharf, therefore it is visible on some photos showing this pier.
Like the other urinals on Connaught Road, this one survived WW2, but around 1950 it was demolished to make way for motor traffic.
