Another prominent building in the middle of the praya, the "Urinal on Connaught Road, opposite the end of Douglas Street". First mentioned in the Government Gazette (call for tender) in 1905 "opposite Marine Lot 62". Opened in 1906.

Appears on many praya photos. Likely survived world war II, and was demolished when traffic increased on Connaught Road in the 1950s.

In this photo from 1953, the urinal would be just outside on the left.  Looking at the cars, they drive straight ahead and likely not around the urinal building.

Update: In 1954, the urinal has definitely been removed.
