page 55:

A temporary railway track had been laid in a reserved section of Salisbury Road pending completion of a more permanent facility, and part of a godown belonging to the Hong Kong & Kowloon Wharf & Godown Company had been rented and turned into a temporary station building.

..........

The scene [the opening ceremony] is set beside the the tiny post office in Tsim Sha Tsui, where an official an official enclosure had been laid out for the honoured guests…….. (see photo of the opening ceremony).

Possibly just for the opening ceremony, matshed buildings had been erected, these are visibly on the photo of the opening ceremony.  The station can bee seen in the distance on the photo from the opening ceremony

The station closed with the opening of the permanent terminus.
