The building houses a traditional "cha chaan teng", Mido Cafe, located at the corner of Temple Street and Public Square Street, Yau Ma Tei. On a YouTube video, the owner's daughter said the restaurant opened on 18 January 1950. Midland Realty mentions 11 April 1950 as the date of occupation.
