When hanging around Albert Road today, I caught a glimpse of something interesting up the hill to the Fountain Terrace Garden in Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, a tunnel entrance:
It is made of concrete, has "HKWW 1931-33“ carved on the top wall.
A quick online search shows that this should be the tunnel entrance to the Gardens Service Reservoir, constructed from 1931 to 1933, together with the staircase to the fountain.
