Eva Forbes was the daughter of Edwin Henry and Celestina Summers and sister of Alec and Charles Summers. She married Robert Fraser Forbes and was probably evacuated to Australia with her three children, as the Australian Electoral Roll puts her as living in Queensland in 1943. Neither she nor her husband appear on subsequent Electoral Rolls. Their children were Monica, Jean and Robert Forbes, who remained in Queensland. Many thanks to annpake for this research.

She was named after her father's sister Eva Margaret Lucy Summers who married Fred Thomason and went to live in Canada and who gave Henry Summers of Ngau Shi Kowloon as her nearest relative on a Passenger List. (it used to be the custom in RC familes to give a Saint's name as the first forename and the second forename was a family name e.g. James Francis was aka Frank)

She was recorded in Queensland in 1943 in Australia Electoral Rolls

Her mother Celestine Summers died 11 February 1942 in Brisbane Queensland.

Perhaps Eva Margaret Summers/Forbes went to Australia with her husband or brother.
