"DEATH.

On Easter Sunday, at the Peak Hospital, Hongkong, JOSEPHINE, the dearly beloved Wife of Harry Halton Fox, of H.M. Consulat Service in China, aged 23 years."

She married Harry Halton Fox, Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Shanghai on 28th May 1896. She was a 19 year old spinster then residing in Shanghai, with no occupation and was the daughter of Thomas Bassett, Master Mariner. 

She was buried at the Hong Kong Cemetery, Section 18, Happy Valley, Hong Kong
