The video title is ".......Chinese Red Army", but I don't see any Red Army flags, all the flags were Kuomingtang flags. It was a welcome parade for the Koumingtang army.
They walked south along Tai Po Road, then turned east onto Boundary Street. The playground @3:15 on the left side of the street was the police recreation grounds.
On youtube, the video title is misleading and the year is incorrect. Write-ups of the footage can be read here and here . Mention is made here on page 4 of the march of 90,000 Chinese troops through Hong Kong. China Mail 16 October 1945 refers.
