Is this near the existing Caltex Station just down from the driveway leading to the former Shaw Studios Complex? I used to live on the property near 91/4 miles CWB RD at what is now known as Pine Villas from 1954-1971 just across CWB Rd from the Caltex Station. Coincidentally, one of our neighbours was surnamed Lo.

Walked by it last weekend. I believe this is a little bit further up the slope, at the location right opposite the driveway up the service reservoir. The Streetview photo above showed exactly that.

Tried searching for it on Google Street Map in futile, your marker seems to be away from the curb, is that correct?

MS 9, Clearwater Bay Road
The Clearwater Bay Road milestones "split" after MS 8, at the junction with Hirams Highway. So there is a MS 9 on CWRB Rd and also on Hirams Highway.
The photo was taken in about 2011, and the location was from the Map as I didn't geolocate at that time. Will post a map also.
