The Government Annual Report for 1964 refers:
On Hong Kong Island, work has continued on the Central Reclamation scheme. The new pier for the Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Company's Inner Harbour Services and the General Post Office piers were completed and brought into use, while the new public pier to replace Blake Pier is near completion. Work began on the new Outer Harbour Services Ferry Pier....
The pier was located on reclaimed land in front of Connaught Road where todays Four Season's Hotel stands. It provided services to Tai Kok Tsui and Sham Shui Po.
The next phase of reclamation started 1993/94, aerial photographs show the existence in February 1995, gone in December 1995.
