Couple pieces of carved stone with metal frame or support (??) in Explosives Magazine of the Victoria Barracks (now Asia Society). Anybody knows what are they and their history??

Not sure if the stones on the ground are connected with the metal pylons of the aerial ropeway to the Explosive Magazine. Please see here I would have expected the stones to be larger and thicker.
