Evan Ormiston, Banker with the Mercantile Bank of India and lived at Derrington’, Peak Road, according to the juror’s list of 1911 and Ladies Directory of 1919.  He was a Petitioner for the formation of a masonic Lodge, the University Lodge of Hong Kong No.3666, in 1913.

Probably Col. Hugh Blackwell Layard Dowbiggin (1884-1966) was also a resident later on as his son Richard (born 1916) gives Derrington as his address according to the Indian Army Officers list at http://www.unithistories.com/officers/IndianArmy_officers_D01.html

Noted in 1930, the name "Derrington" is used  for a residence at 3 Bowen Road, next to the Bowen Road Tram Station.
