You said Roman Tam & the Four Steps were at the Purple Onion...which year(s) would that be? I ask becsuse in the late 1960s (about 1967) Roman and his group played at the Firecracker Bar in the basement of the President Hotel (later the Hyatt Hotel ) at the corner of Nathan Rd/Peking Rd.
1969 when I attended the famous Teddy boy school Mansfield College in TST, I am not quite sure whether they also played Here comes the sun and Sunshine of your love
