Chuancey Wu, a partner of Luke Him Sau in Shanghai before WWII
Need help to see if Wu died in 1948 in a plane crash from Shanghai to HK on December 21. Wu entered Univ of Pennsylvania to study architecture in 1925. Seemed to graduate in 1930 and returned to Shanghai to practice together with Luke. Some sources said he passed away in 1943.
But if he really died in 1948, then he was the son-in-law of Zhu Chaoling, a famous top minister in the 1910s in Peking in charge of public works. And if so, Wu was a figher pilot in Manuchuria with the warlord of Zhang Zuolin.
But Wu may died during the Japanese invasion.
