Can anyone help to identify the location where the photo was taken?

I found this photo of the Scout helicopter on line, https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/registration/XW612 and it was described as taken at Edinburgh!

It must have been in Hong Kong, so I submitted the correction to change it to "Hong Kong' and was accepted.

However, I was asked to identify the exact location, where the photo was taken.  Can anybody help?

The picture was taken at Osborn Barracks in Kowlooon, now the PLA Kowloon East Barracks. There is a place on Gwulo for it here. Specifically the picture was taken facing east through the camp boundary towards Renfrew Road, by Block 18 of the military camp. Looking at the satellite view, the interlocking white line circles of the Helipad still exist and look in use.

The old metal buildings and the slope they stand on in the background of the picture have been replaced by the Wing Lung Bank Building for Business, part of the Shaw Campus of Hong Kong Baptist University. This is the closest current day view one can get:

Herostratus and Moddsey,

Thank you so much!

Will inform the other party to make sure the details where the photo was taken is updated.
